HelloBJ is a service-based digital studio. We provide custom services such as website design and development, mobile and web app development, SaaS product work, landing pages, branding, and AI-powered solutions.

Because our work is customized, time-based, and delivered as professional effort rather than a stock product, this Refund Policy explains when payments are and are not refundable. By engaging HelloBJ or making a payment, you agree to the terms below.

Each project is quoted based on scope, timeline, and the effort required. Once work begins, our team allocates time, tools, and resources specifically to your project that cannot be recovered or resold.

For this reason, fees are tied to the work performed and milestones completed, not simply to a final deliverable being accepted.

Most engagements begin with an advance payment or deposit to reserve our schedule and start discovery, planning, and design work.

This initial deposit is non-refundable once work has started, as it covers the planning, communication, and resources committed to your project from day one.

Larger projects are billed in milestones (for example: discovery, design, development, and launch). Each milestone payment covers the work completed in that phase.

Payments for milestones that are already delivered or in progress are non-refundable. If a project is paused or cancelled, you are responsible for payment covering all work completed up to that point.

You may request to cancel a project at any time by writing to us. If you cancel before any work has started, we will refund any amount paid, minus any non-refundable deposit or third-party costs already incurred.

If you cancel after work has started, we will calculate the effort completed to date. Any remaining balance from your payment, after accounting for completed work and committed costs, will be refunded where applicable.

The following are non-refundable in all cases: completed and delivered work, time already spent on your project, rush or priority fees, and any third-party costs paid on your behalf.

Third-party costs include items such as domain names, hosting, plugins, licenses, stock assets, paid APIs, and subscriptions purchased specifically for your project.

Each project includes a defined number of revisions within the agreed scope. Requests that go beyond the agreed scope are treated as additional work and quoted separately.

A change of mind about the direction of a project, or new requirements added after approval of a phase, does not qualify for a refund of work already completed.

Timely delivery depends on your cooperation. Delays in providing content, feedback, approvals, or access needed to continue the work do not qualify for a refund.

If a project becomes inactive on the client's side for an extended period, we may consider it paused, and completed work remains payable.

To request a refund or discuss a cancellation, email hellobj16@gmail.com with your project name, the details of your request, and the reason. We review each request fairly and individually.

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method within 7-14 business days, unless a different timeline is required by your payment provider.

Please contact us first if you have any concern about a payment. Raising a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us delays resolution and may affect ongoing work.
